We do not have a shelter facility and all of our rescues are in
private foster homes in the Dallas and Ft Worth area. A foster home
is a transition home, where they will be treated as a family member
while they are in our care.

Arkansas Puppy Mill Bust - March 23, 2009
STARS has taken in 7 Shih Tzu from the Arkansas puppy mill
bust. 6 of them are 3 and under.
4 females and 3 males. We have one 7 yr old that has been in a puppymill
his entire life :(
They will be available for adoption in about 3 weeks. These dogs
will require patience with their housetraining and walking on a
leash. Puppy mill dogs are always very shy and skittish and take
time to get used to their new surroundings.
